* Reliance offers roaming rates starting from just 40ps/min, the lowest in Industry

Chennai, May 22, 2007: Continuing with the never-before series of initiatives in the month of May 07, Reliance today announced slashing of roaming rates by as much as 70%. This move of Reliance comes close on the heels of launch of the Rs. 777 monochrome handset, Rs. 1234 colour handset and the Rs. 499 Lifetime Recharge Voucher. All these moves were aimed at expanding the mobility market. Now, with this roaming initiative, Reliance has made its proposition highly attractive for our frequently traveling high-usage customers.

Announcing the offer, Mr S.P Shukla "� President, Personal Business- Reliance Communications said "The roaming rates had already been reduced in Feb 2007 for our customers. Now, we have taken a step further by reducing roaming rates to as low as 40ps/minute on select plans. This should add real value to those customers, who have a need for traveling across the nation. A significant feature of this rate reduction has been on Incoming Calls while roaming, which have been reduced from current Re. 1.75/min to Re. 1/min "� so that our customers will not have to think before accepting incoming calls while roaming".
