Taurus Mutual Fund has appointed Mr. Sadanand Shetty as Vice President & Sr. Fund Manager - Equity with effect from 3rd May, 2010.
He joins Taurus from Kotak Securities Ltd. At Kotak, he was responsible for managing portfolios in his capacity as VP and Portfolio Manager – Equity, for nearly six years. He successfully managed portfolios which aggregated over US$200m discretionary fund on behalf of private clients spread across India.
Prior to Kotak he had successful stints with Global firms in India such as SocGen( one of the largest European banks), Newscorp, as well Indian groups such as Principal Capital Markets Ltd and Capital Markets Publishers Pvt Ltd.
With Post graduate specialization from Xavier’s Institute of Management as well as post graduate from Mumbai University with specialization in Banking & Finance, Sadanand Shetty has joined Taurus Mutual Fund with 16 years of rich experience as Vice President & Senior Fund Manager – Equity.
