- Plans to offer reciprocal exchange of undergraduate students with Barry University
- Extensive student and faculty exchange programs to be offered in association with Moscow Academy of Finance and Law
Sharda University, an institute of excellence, inspiring value-based education, research and development, has entered an International Collaboration with two renowned universities in USA viz. Barry University, Florida (USA) and Moscow Academy of Finance and Law, Mexico (USA) by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
As part of this MOU, Sharda University plans to offer students, in India, various interesting scholarly and cultural student exchange programmes. The significance of such programmes in this day and age of globalization cannot be overstated. They provide the students a unique opportunity to explore the world and gain ample international exposure. Keeping this fact in mind, Sharda University has a dedicated International Division to facilitate the students with such opportunities.
The University’s International Division aims at developing scientific, technological and academic co-operation through the implementation of scientific projects and programs in the fields of Business, Humanities and Science & Technology. As part of the MOU with Barry University, Sharda University will provide the undergraduate students a reciprocal exchange program, where participating students will be studying one term at the host institution.
The University will also be implementing exchange programs for students (graduate and undergraduate), faculty and administrative staff in collaboration with Moscow Academy of Finance and Law. Collaborative research projects, lectures, symposia, promotion of academic co-operation in fields of mutual interest are in pipeline as per the MOU signed by the two Universities.

Welcoming the partnership, Dr. Linda Peterson, Provost of Barry University, USA, said, “It gives us immense pleasure in signing a MOU with Sharda University. Now our students will get a good opportunity to learn the Indian value system. We are in the process of materializing projects that will help both the countries advance in the fields of science, technology and business.”
Mr. Alexy Zabelin, Rector of Moscow Academy of Finance and Law, said, “We always look forward to meaningful partnerships and collaborations with overseas universities and Sharda University is a name to reckon with in terms of educational opportunities and exposure provided to the students. We are assured that our students will gain insights into the wonderful Indian culture through their experience at Sharda University.”
Sharda University has already international collaborations with Middlesex University, London (UK), Northhumbia University (England), GMIT (Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology, Galway), Centro De Investigacion Y De Estudios Avanzados Del Ipn (Cinvestav, Mexico), Hochschule Bremerhaven, University of Applied Sciences (Germany), Tertiary Education Commision Of Mauritius (Mauritius), Istanbul Aydin University, Istanbul (Turkey), Payap University (Thailand) and Aeromap Technology Systems (Kingdom of Bahrain).
