German brand MUSTANG enters India through a retail arrangement with Shopper’s Stop Limited
Shopper’s Stop Limited, pioneer of modern retail in India, brings one of Europe's leading jeanswear and lifestyle brands to India as part of their exclusive international brand offering. Shopper’s Stop Limited in an exclusive retail arrangement with the German jeanswear and lifestyle brand MUSTANG will operate shop-in-shops within its flagship department store format Shoppers Stop.
On the onset 5 shop-in-shops of MUSTANG are planned to start operations within this financial year ending March 31, 2010. The first shop-in-shop has already started operations within the new store of Shoppers Stop in Cyberabad (InOrbit Mall). Others are planned at Shoppers Stop stores in New Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru.
Founded in 1932, MUSTANG was the first denim brand to be manufactured in Europe. With revenues of over 100 million Euros, MUSTANG has become one of Europe's leading jeanswear and lifestyle brands. The company's many milestones include the first women's jeans and the first corduroys in Europe, and the first stretch jeans in the world.

Under the retail arrangement Mustang merchandise will be imported from the parent company to be retailed at the shop-in-shops within Shoppers Stop stores in India. MUSTANG garments production takes place in many parts of the world, mainly in Asia Pacific and North Africa
All the garment are AZO (Nitrogen) & other hazardous dyes free.
New range of trendy styles will be introduced every 4 – 6 weeks as it is internationally (12 delivery dates in a year). The authentic, true and honest collection of MUSTANG apparel is tagged at an attractive Indian pricing with Men’s Shirts/tees starting at Rs. 599 as compared to EURO 19.95 in Europe and Men’s bottom wear starting at Rs. 1599 as compared to EURO 59.95 in Europe, Similarly, Women tops/ tees are priced at Rs. 599 onwards as compared to 19.95 in Europe and Women bottom wear starting from RS. 1599 as compared to 59.95 in Europe.
Each shop-in-shop of MUSTANG within Shoppers Stop has a floor space of between 35 and 45 square meters. The look and feel of the shop-in-shops reflects MUSTANG’s internationally proven store and interior design concept. A fascinating mix of wood-look elements and vintage-appearance furniture and rusty iron tables creates an attractive shopping experience.
