Short term Course in Film Appreciation in Panjim, Goa

A short term course in Film Appreciation, under the joint auspices of the National Film Archive of India, the Film And Television Institute of India, and Entertainment Society of Goa, will be held from  3rd to 11th  July 2010  at Macquinz Palace, Panjim.

The course is open to all (above 21 years)  who are interested in film studies/activities. The curriculum includes theoretical study of the art and history of cinema, development of cinema as a medium of art and communication, the technical and various other aspects of the medium. Classics from both Indian and international cinema will be used for critical analysis and study. The course will be conducted from 9.30 am to 9.30 pm every day. The medium of instructions will be English/ Hindi. The course fee is Rs.3000/-.
