Shree Cement Limited, the largest cement manufacturer of North India and among top five cement manufacturers in the country, despatched 8.58 lac tonnes of Cement in December 2009 and registered 22.40 % growth over the corresponding month in 2008 when it despatched 7.01 lac tonnes of Cement. The growth in cement from Apr-Dec is 24.66%.
The company also despatched 1.31 lac tonnes of Clinker in December 2009 and registered 157.30 % growth over the corresponding month in 2008 when it dispatched 0.51 lac tonnes of Clinker. The growth in Clinker from Apr-Dec is 45.50%.
The cumulative (Cement and Clinker) growth during December 09 is 31.56% and during Apr-Dec 09 it is 26.66%.
