For its 4th quarter ended 30th September, 2008, Shree Renuka Sugars’ Total Income increased by 159% to Rs.636 crores (Rs.246 crores) while Net Profit increased by 187% to Rs.36.8 crores (Rs.12.8 crores).
For the year ended 30th September, 2008, the Company’s Total Income increased by 120% to Rs.2130 crores (Rs.968 crores) and Net Profit for the year increased by 61% to Rs.134 crores (Rs.83 crores).
The annualized Earnings per Share (of Face Value Re.1) stood at Rs.4.31 for the year.
As at 30th September, 2008, the Company’s Reserves (excluding Revaluation Reserves and net of minority interest of subsidiary companies) stood at Rs.783 crores on an Equity Share Capital of Rs.27.6 crores.
