SPML Infra ltd., one of India’s leading water and Environment Company celebrated January as “Social Responsibility” month. During this period, the company organized activities like Cleanliness Drives, Tree plantations, Free Eye Check up camps, Environmental Awareness programs and Awareness programs on Waste Segregation.
The Cleanliness Drive campaign was graced by the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Mr. Tejendra Khanna along with Finance Minister of Delhi Government, Dr. A.K. Walia in RK Puram area of Delhi.
More than 800 people were checked and treated without any charge at Eye Check up camps. Medicines and viewing glasses (spectacles) were distributed free of cost to the underprivileged.
Environment awareness programs were conducted in various schools in the NCR region where nearly 125 students actively participated. With an aim to maintain our precious environmental balance, trees were planted on a large scale in Dwarka on the occasion of SPML Founders Day on 29th January 2011.
