Rediffusion Y&R has welcomed Tina Sachdev on board once again, as the Creative Head in its Mumbai office. In her new role Tina will be heading one of the 3 verticals at Rediffusion Y&R’s Mumbai Office and will be handling creative duties for brands like Airtel, Hair & care, Big FM & Kaya. Prior to this appointment, she was with JWT, Bangalore as Senior Creative Director from December 2005.
Tina’s earlier stint was with Rediffusion DYR, Bangalore as Associate Creative Director from August 2000-November 2005 and had worked on brands like ING Vysya Life Insurance, ING Vysya Bank, McDowell’s Signature Whisky, Romanov Vodka, Nike, Taj Group of Hotels, Airtel, ETA Real Estate and Reva.
Announcing the appointment, Nisha Singhania, EVP, Rediffusion Y&R, Mumbai says, “I am thrilled to have Tina with us once again as the Creative Head of our Mumbai office. Her varied experience across brand-categories and professional capability will surely help our teams. Tina brings with her 15 years of experience in the industry and some of the other iconic brands she has worked with include Levi Strauss, Van Heusen, Black Dog Whisky, Whyte & Mackay, Nike, Kingfisher, TTK Prestige, Smithkline Beecham, Hewlett Packard, The Wearhouse, Raheja Developers, McDowell’s Signature Whisky, Romanov Vodka to name a few. Tina started her career in 1996 with Everest Advertising, Delhi as a Copywriter. She had a five month stint at MAA Bozell Delhi before joining the Bangalore office. Eventually she moved on to Rediffusion DYR, Bangalore in August 2000.
Interestingly, she was a social worker with an NGO for street children in Hyderabad before she took to advertising.
Tina is a Masters Degree holder in Social Work from TISS, Mumbai and has a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Delhi University. She bagged a couple of awards at the Goafest and the Bangalore Ad Club. Her work for Van Heusen Woman made it win the Best WomensWear Brand Award at Images 2008. Tina has a record of winning the best work worldwide in ING’s global network, two years in a row. Moreover, her work was showcased in Neil French’s book on the best work in Asia Pacific in 2005 and again in JWT’s best work in 2008.
Tina also pursues her creativity by acting in theatre and painting besides doing voice-overs.
