Unity Infraprojects Ltd., (BSE: 532746), one of India's major civil contracting firms, has secured an order worth Rs. 198.00Cr in the state of Rajasthan.
The Public Works Department, Jaipur awarded a project worth Rs.198 Cr for two-laning of section from Chomu to Mahal via Renwal, Jobner (SH-8B, SH-19, SH-2C, SHG-8A & ODR-02) to Unity Infraprojects Ltd on Design, Build, Finance, Operate& Transfer (DBFOT) basis. The concession period of the said project is 25 years and the completion period is 18 months.
With the inclusion of this contract, the order book of the company now stands at Rs. 3,860.00 Cr
Recently the company secured two construction orders worth Rs. 89.29 Cr from the Ministry of Earth Sciences, & Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Ltd in Hyderabad for construction of new Buildings under Phase -II at INCOIS & construction of office complex for IRDA respectively.
Commenting on the order, Mr. Abhijit K. Avarsekar, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Unity Infraprojects Ltd. said, "The order from the Public works Department, Jaipur is a prestigious contract.This is the first order in state of Rajasthan for this quarterand we expect to increase our operations this area.
