Web 18 recently announced the appointments of Hatim Kantawalla as the Group Editor and Keshaw Sinha as the VP & Head, Technology at Web18 respectively to add further impetus to their existing leadership position in the technology domain.
Hatim has been brought on board to take charge of the editorial operations of www.tech2.com and www.biztech2.com, leading websites in the consumer and enterprise technology spaces respectively. He will as group editor, also lead editorial for Infomedia18's tech media brands viz. Chip and T3
As VP & Head – Technology, Keshaw will be in charge of the entire gamut of web development, design, support and technology infrastructure at Web18. Before joining Web18, he was Head of the technology team at Zapak and was instrumental in positioning it as the one of the leading casual gaming portals in India.
Hatim brings with him a valuable nine years of experience of working with technology media companies in India and the Middle East. Prior to joining Web18, Hatim was an associate publisher of PC Magazine and was responsible for the business unit's P&L in Dubai, UAE. He has previously been Editor-In-Chief of magazines like PC Magazine M&NE, ARN and Playstation Magazine. Hatim has also worked as the Deputy Head, Test Centre for Chip, Network Computing and CRN at Jasubhai Digital Media, India. He has been responsible for overall technological direction and management of the IT Infrastructure of the companies he has worked with.
Keshaw has been working in the IT industry for last 14 yrs in various capacities. He graduated with a B Tech in electrical engineering from IIT Mumbai, and thereafter, has applied his technical expertise in various industries like Internet, Telecom, Retail, Product and Services in India. He has also worked overseas in prominent positions such as Technical Architect, Business Delivery Owner and Technology Head.
