Acid thrown on two girls in Bihar

The two teenaged girls were sleeping on the roof at their home in Maner police station area last night when the acid was thrown causing burn injuries, the sources said.

The girls were taken to the Patna Medical College and Hospital with one of them suffering severe burn injuries in the face, the police said.

Prima facie the incident seemed to be the act of jilted lover, the police said.

One person has been taken into custody.
