"Whatever is being said about changing the name of the park is concerned...The old name did not exist anywhere in the records," the chief minister said after inaugurating Yamuna Expressway here.
He said the BSP government was staging dharnas to mislead people.
The BSP recently staged a dharna alleging that the SP government was indulging in politics of names, and had threatened to move court stating the name 'Ambedkar Harit Garden' had been passed by the Lucknow Development Authority board and also got the approval of the government in 2010.
The party had claimed that soon after coming to power, the Akhilesh Yadav government had changed the names of the welfare schemes in the name of Dalit icons and then the names of the districts were also changed.
