During its two-month rule the Vijay Bahuguna government has only stalled the pro-people schemes initiated by the previous BJP government, state BJP's spokesman Mukesh Mahendra said in a statement.

"Bahuguna has only one work to do and that is to frequently visit New Delhi to seek party high command's intervention in controlling the infighting in the state unit of party," Mahendra alleged.

Instead of launching new welfare and development schemes, the government only stalled the pro-people projects launched by the previous BJP government like Lokayukta bill, Atal foodgrain scheme and regularisation of slums, he alleged.

Mahendra also criticised the government for frequent and long power cuts during the summer season and said the rural areas of the state are facing even seven-hours long power cuts every day.
