cough syrup abused as an intoxicant, was seized by the BSF from Churaibari, in North Tripura district, police sources said today.
The BSF seized 7500 bottles of the cough syrup from an Agartala-bound truck at the check gate at Churaibari yesterday, the sources said.
Driver Dhananjoy Mondal and co-driver Amit Ghosh, both from West Bengal, were arrested, they said.
