CPI(M) to agitate from next week in Bengal

"We discussed lack of security among common people, spurt in political murders and violence, price rise, the state government's indifference to solve burning problems and misrule," CPI(M) central committee member Md Selim, said at the end of the first day's session of the 2-day state committee meeting here.

Selim said that law violation, rallies and street corner meetings would be taken up across the state next week.

He said that there would be agitational programmes till next month and the four Left parties would launch a dharna in Delhi from July 30 to August four during the monsoon session of Parliament.

 

CPI(M) sources said that law violation programme would be held in the districts on July 16 and in Kolkata and Siliguri the following day.
