The trading volume was Rs 21.96 crore from trading of 17 scrips.
Among major scrips, Blueprint Securities was at Rs 307. Infosys Technologies was at Rs 2359.50 at close.
Larsen and Toubro was at Rs 1190 at close. State Bank of India was marginally up at Rs 2014 and Reliance Industries slipped to close at Rs 694.95.
Tata Steel gained to Rs 403.
