The benchmark index (CSE-40) was down 6.51 points during the trading session. The local bourse opened at 6282.56 and during the session it slipped to close at 6276.05.
Total turnover was Rs 25.49 crore from trading of 17 scrips.
Among major scrips, Blueprint Securities was at Rs 307.25. Konarak Commerce Industries was at Rs 98.20.
State Bank of India was up to Rs 2220 and Reliance Industries was at Rs 730 at close.
Tata Steel was down to Rs 436 and Twenty-First Century was at Rs 325.30.
