"You can understand how it will feel like if you suddenly become Tagore before the camera to make the character believable before the audience. I am happy that the glasses worn by the young Tagore are different from the one I sport these days. If you shun your present accessories, which are a part of yours it becomes easier for you to live the character and the periodicity," he told PTI introducing Trendz 2013 by Titan Eye Plus.

Asked about the costumes and the articles acquired for the shoot part, reflecting the times, Samadarshi said "as I said these were painstakingly acquired by Rituda and his team who are master craftsmen to recreate the period look."

Samadarshi, who have also turned in Gaynar baksho by Aparna Sen in an all important role, said "I wish to work again with all of them. Rinadi (Aparna), Rituda and this time in a feature film and all others. Why I am part of the project of new director Manoj Michigan."

Informing he was a typical city boy, who sports a trendz 'eye-wear' in the film Damadol, Samadarshi said "it is not inspired, or copied by Hindi comedy hit Golmaal but a indigenous Bengali comedy flick."

"There is Saheb (Bhattacharya), there is me and there is Priyanka and Apuda (Saswata Chatterjee). And there is a comedy riot," he said refusing to divulge further.

Samadarshi would be the new age icon from Bengali film industry for Titan eyecare to penetrate into the young customer base.
