in a clash between two grouos after a married woman was teased in Assam's Kamrup (Rural) district today, police sources said.
A person, identified as Shahabuddin, teased a married woman with her relatives attacking him in Tukibala area. Shahabuddin's relatives in turn retaliated leading to a clash in which 13 persons, including the woman was injured, the sources said.
Police and senior civil officials brought the situation under control.
The injured were admitted to the Rangiya Civil Hospital but were referred to the Guwahati Medical College Hospital as the condition of all were stated to be critical, they said. PTI COR DG
