Fresh water turtles seized, man arrested

The man smuggling out the turtles weighing over 15 kg each was arrested, Forest Range Officer Bijoy Kumar Parida, said.

The man Bhagirathi Mandal was charged under various provisions of the Wildlife Protection Act, he said.
