The grenade was hurled by two persons at the central security forces near the Assam State Transport Corporation ticket counter adjacent to the Paltan Bazar police station at 7:00 pm, the sources said.
The injured were immediately rushed to the Guwahati Medical College Hospital.
The identity of the attackers was yet to be ascertained, the sources said.
