"It is a socially relevant film and the common man can relate to it. My role is that of a flirtatious, young man who achieves fame through singing. He is idealistic and wants to bring a change in the socio-politcal scenario in the country," Singh said.
The 40-year-old, who rose to fame with the hit single 'Chahiyya Chahiyya' from "Dil Se", first released the film in 2010 as "Kuchh Kariye" but director-producer Jagbir Dahiya is bringing it back to the cinema halls with few changes.
Singh says he would like to be associated with good roles without leaving his playback singing career behind.
"I don't mind being associated with films as long as it is offered to me by beautiful minded people. The rest I can handle," Singh said, adding that he has sung four songs in the movie, which releases tomorrow.
