"Their twisted appeal at this juncture is a direct interference in the democratic election process in India by the US lawmakers," OFBJP alleged in a statement issued days after 25 influential US lawmakers in a letter to Clinton asked that the Obama Administration continue the previous policy of denying Modi a US visa.

The US yesterday reiterated that there has been no change in its policy with regard to visa to Modi.

Clinton is yet to reply to the Congressmen letter.

But in her response, Clinton is expected to convey to Congressmen that there has been no change in US policy on granting via to Modi, a senior State Department official said on condition of anonymity.

OFBJP-USA, which despite best of its efforts has failed to gain support of even one Congressmen in favour of Modi, said that it would work with both Republican and Democratic party lawmakers and officials in the administration to "see the reason of truth and reality" and "not to succumb to the international conspiracy of projecting a truthful and great leader as a demon."
