'Little-known bravehearts should more hog limelight'

"Why not bravehearts like Amiyo Ghosh, Arijit Mitra and Tarun Mukhopadhyay, who have made their marks in the fields of health and medicine, sports, education and bravery respectively! I would like to have these 'Salaam Bengal Bravery' winners more written about and projected by the media," Agnimitra said.

The famed fashion designer, having arranged wardrobes of Bollywood personalities like Monisha Koirala and Sridevi as well as Prosenjit and Rajesh Sharma, was part of the jury panel also comprising chess star Dibyendu Barua and cardiologist Dr Subrata Moitra.

"I had in past introduced people from soccer fraternity as my show-stoppers instead of faces from show-biz, so why not these real champions who work in such interiors where electricity has also not reached all the corners," she said recalling the team's visit to a North 24 Parganas hamlet to see for themselves work of these people.
