'Muskan project' kingpin held for duping job seekers

Acting on a tip off, the accused Dr. Rudradev, who had gone underground recently, was arrested from outside the Mahavir temple complex, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Amrit Raj told reporters here.

Rudradev had allegedly fleeced hundreds of people with the promise of job in his NGO, called Muskan project, that he and his associates had set up in the state capital in 2006 and had its registration obtained from New Delhi, Raj said.

There were several cases registered against the NGO kingpin in Patna, Bhojpur, Vaishali, West Champaran, Muzaffarpur, besides Rohini Sector in New Delhi and three other states with similar charges, the SSP said.
