"Kashmir issue is the main reason for the animosity and trust deficit between India and Pakistan. Unless there is a strong determination to address this issue, no dramatic headway should be expected from the talks between the two countries," Hurriyat chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani said in a statement here.

Reacting to the latest round of talks between India and Pakistan on Siachen, Geelani claimed all outstanding issues except Sir Creek are directly linked to Kashmir.

"Till the puzzle of Kashmir is solved in accordance with the wishes and aspirations of the people, there will be no headway in talks," he said.
