The CBFC had listed several objections including denigration of Lord Buddha, Mahatma Gandhi and dalit leaders like Ayyankali while denying certification, Prakash Bare told PTI here.
The Censor Board also cited the expletives used by certain characters and visuals of extreme violence against women in the film as the reasons for denial of certification.
Bare said they had appealed against the decision to the Revision Committee and a decision was expected within a week.
They would think of moving the Film Certification Appellate Tribunal if the appeal was rejected.
