David Guggenheim wrote the original script for the movie which stars Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds, reported Contactmusic.
Guggenheim has once again teamed up with producer Scott Stuber to continue the action thriller, which saw Reynolds portray a young CIA agent overseeing a South American safe house and taking care of a rogue agent (Washington).
'Safe House' - directed by Daniel Espinosa - made USD 126 million domestically and USD 202 million worldwide after it's release earlier this year.
