Silent march dispersed in Ranchi

A glass pane of a shop was shattered in a brief melee, Superintendent of Police (City) Vipul Shukla told PTI.

The protestors took out a a silent march up to Albert Ekka Chowk in protest against the killings in Myanmar, but some elements tried to breach peace. The situation was brought under control immediately, Shukla said.

Many shops in the vicinity downed shutters. The police were keeping watch on the main road.
