The strike team will demolish encroachments and officers would be held responsible if any encroachments were found in the area assigned to them for supervision, Saran said.
The team will work jointly with police force and administration officers, he said.
The CEO also reviewed progress of development works such as Metro Rail extension projects, Faridabad-Noida-Ghaziabad road and cleaning of roads at the weekly review meeting.
He directed officers to meet Resident Welfare Associations representatives regularly and redress their grievances.
UPPCL, BSNL and IGL officers were present at the meeting besides senior authority officers.
