The banana leaves thrown on overhead wires at Mathurapur, Nischindpur and Jaynagar-Majilpur stations were removed after which trains services resumed after four hours, railway sources said.
Obstructions on railway tracks were also removed.
Train services at Hogla and Jaynagar-Majilpur stations were also disrupted for similar reasons.
