The security guards fired posted at the company gate fired after heated arguments with the labourers over a new rule of the company, the sources said.
Besides the press photographer Madan Sahu who suffered injuries in the stomach, a contract labourer was also wounded in the firing, the sources said.
The two were hospitalised.
