"The country is going through a serious political crisis and instability, the government which is scam tainted and deep into corruption has lost its credibility and majority among the people and in the Parliament," BJP national vice-president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said while talking to the reporters here.

He said after Trinamool Congress' decision to withdraw support, the government was making efforts to save its throne by adopting various tactics.

"This government has completely lost faith of the people and facing their angst. It is on the dollar dialysis," he alleged.

In reply to a question Naqvi said general elections could take place in the country any time.

"Mid term polls would definitely take place and not only this there will be complete root out of Congress," he said.

Naqvi alleged that there was huge resentment in the country on the manner in which the government was adamant to sell economic and public interests in the "hands of foreign market."

"This government has lost its credibility, its a minority government and whatever decisions, whether its FDI in retail, it has taken after this or before, all are unconstitutional, illegal and should be rolled back," he said.

The BJP leader accused the government of cheating and making false statements on the issue of FDI in retail.

"The government in the Parliament said that any decision will be taken only after taking all political parties and state into confidence, but once the session was over in a bid to please its foreign masters it secretly took the decision," he alleged.
