1,000 RSS members to take part in annual meet

At least 1,400 selected representatives and office bearers of RSS from across the country will participate in the three-day annual Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS) at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra Thanisandra, Bangalore starting tomorrow.

RSS leader Manamohan Vaidya told media persons that the Sabha is the yearly meeting of RSS for evaluation annual programs and performances.

He said that the reports and achievements of organisations working in different social domains will be shared in meeting.

Vaidya informed that Akhila Bharateeya Karyakarini Mandali (ABKM) which comprises of Sanghachalaks, Karyavaha and Prant Pracharaks of 41 prants of India met today.

Representatives elected from RSS-Shakhas of all regions of the country, state level office bearers of RSS, national office bearers of Sangh affiliated (Sangh Parivar) organisations will attend all the three days of the meeting.
 

Vaidya said there will be no political decision at the meeting and the exercise is to discuss and evaluate RSS work.

BJP President Rajnath Singh and BJP general secretary (Organisation) Ramlal will also attend the meeting on March 8.

Answering question on RSS role in election, he said RSS has always taken stand that voting in the elections should increase, hence RSS svayamsevaks are working towards creating awareness about enrollment and voting among people.
