Over 1.20 lakh suspects have been arrested in China in a nationwide campaign against theft, robbery and fraud since April, an official statement said today.
Chinese police have uncovered more than 3,33,000 such cases, busting more than 9,800 criminal gangs and confiscating about 640 million yuan (USD 96 million), the Ministry of Public Security said in a statement.
The ministry has issued the highest-level arrest warrant for 10 fugitives suspected of theft, robbery or fraud.
