Police today seized 1.5 quintal ganja and arrested two persons from a locality in Bihar's Kishanganj district, a police officer said.
Acting on a tip-off, the police intercepted a Maruti Suzuki car at Prem Nagar locality and seized 1.5 quintal ganja from it and arrested two persons from the vehicle for possessing contraband substance, the Superintendent of Police (SP) Rajiv Ranjan said.
The contraband has been valued at Rs. Ten lakh, he said.
The smugglers, hailing from West Bengal, had brought the consignment of ganja from Siligudi for supply in local market, Ranjan said adding the two have been booked under the NDPS Act.
