One person has been arrested in connection with the stone-pelting incident in east Delhi's Trilokpuri area on October 8, police said today.

"Shahjad was arrested by a police team from Block 31 in Trilokpuri," said a senior police officer.

An FIR was registered against four persons on charges of rioting at Mayur Vihar police station. Police are trying to trace the three others.

Police said the situation is normal in the area and cops met the peace committee members today. Though a tight vigil is being maintained there in view of Durga Puja and Dussehra.

Members of two groups had on Saturday resorted to stone-pelting following a scuffle between teenagers, triggering tension in the area.
