One person was burnt to death and another sustained severe burn injuries when a bike caught fire after colliding with a truck in Burdwan district today.
Polide said Raju Ruidas died in a few minutes after his shirt caught fire as fuel spilled over from the petrol tank while the two-wheeler collided with a state bus.
K Ruidas, riding the pillion, was seriously injured and taken to Burdwan Medical College and Hospital.
