One person was today killed and five others were injured when an ambulance hit a car in Sarpathan area here, police said.
The incident took place when the ambulance, which was deployed for PWD minister Shivpal Yadav's programme, hit the car killing its driver Ghanshyam on the spot, they said.
Five persons in the ambulance, including a doctor and the driver, were injured and were rushed to the hospital, where their condition was stated to be critical.
Yadav was here to attend a marriage function.
