A 50-year-old woman died and at least 30 others were injured as a bus overturned in Himachal Pradesh's Chamba district on Wednesday, police said.
The incident happened in Luna vilage in Bharmour -- around 420 km from Shimla. The private bus was on its way to Chhatrari village from Palampur hill station when it overturned after hitting a crash barrier that prevented it from falling into a gorge, said Superintendent of Police Monika Bhutungru.
Around 40 people were travelling in the bus. One person, Kaushalya, died at the spot and at least 30 people got injured. Around 21 injured have been taken to the Chamba medical college for treatment, the SP added.
