One person was killed and
two others were injured in an accident in a mobile tower today.
According to police officials, the three persons were doing regular checks by climbing atop the tower at Barpeta Road when an iron rod gave away and fell on one worker.
The deceased has been identified as Chottu Kumar (20) hailing from Bihar, while the injured are Shekhar Yadav (26) from Bihar and Dharmendra Yadav (22) from Jharkhand.
The injured are being treated at Barpeta Medical College and Hospital, police said.
