One person died after standing in queue for three hours for getting his ration card converted into digital ones at Uluberia in Howrah district today.
Police said Hakim Ali Mallick (42) collapsed on the ground after standing in line for three hours before the food supply control office, under Uluberia block 2 zone, this noon.
Mallick was taken to Uluberia hospital by those present and declared dead, police said.
