One person was today arrested with seven kgs of ganja from Hussainabad in Palamau district, a senior police officer said.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (Hussainabad), M K Mahato said acting on a tip off, a police team conducted raid and arrested Rajesh Kumar Gupta, who allegedly deals in illegal narcotics.
Police has recovered seven kgs of ganja from his possession, he said.
Mahato said Gupta, a resident of Jhanda chowk under Harihargunj police station, used to procure the narcotics from Muzaffarfur, Bihar and supply it in Hussainabad and surrounding areas.
Gupta has been forwarded to jail, he added.
