A homeguard jawan was beaten to death and another injured by unidentified persons in Bachrawan area while resisting a robbery bid, a senior officer said here today.
Sushil Kumar Yadav and Pradeep Kumar Yadav were attacked by unidentified persons when they resisted theft attempt at a cement factory at Kundanganj last night, Superintendent of Police Rajesh Pandey said.
He said that while Sushil Kumar died on the spot, Pradeep sustained serious injuries.
