1 injured as blast targets polio vaccination team in Pakistan

A Pakistani security personnel was injured when an IED blast targetted a polio vaccination team in the restive tribal region bordering Afghanistan today.

The incident occurred in Mamund district of Bajaur agency bordering Afghanistan. The blast took place as the vaccination team was administering oral anti-polio drops to the kids.

A sepoy of the Bajaur Levy got injured in the blast, an official said.
