A powerful explosion here in the early hours of Thursday injured a 10-year-old girl and damaged eight shops, police said.
The incident took place at Nagamapal-RIMS road crossing around 4.55 am, they said.
The explosion was so powerful that it shattered the glass panes of the shops.
Senior police officers visited the spot and investigations were on.
No outfit has claimed responsibility for the blast, they said.
