One person was killed and 12 were injured when a private bus from Delhi rammed into a standing truck on Jaipur-New Delhi national highway in Jaipur rural area today, the police said.
The private bus, going to Jaipur from Delhi, hit the truck in the under Kotputli police circle. Bus driver Kamlesh (30) was killed in the incident, SHO of Paniyala police station Pawan Kumar said.
Of the injured, 10 were discharged from the hospital after primary treatment, while two others were referred to a hospital in Delhi owing to their critical condition, the police official said.
Body of the deceased has been kept in a mortuary and post-mortem will be conducted after his family members reach Kotputli, he said.
