1 killed, 2 hurt as sports bikes collide, cops probing 'stunt'

One person was killed and two seriously injured when two sports bikes collided head-on in the Qutub Institutional Area here, police said today.

The accident occurred at around 9 am yesterday when the two sports bikes collided head-on, said a senior police officer, adding that it is being probed whether the riders were performing stunts.

One of the riders, Raman (20) from Uttam Nagar, was declared brought dead at Rockland Hospital, the officer said.

The deceased was pursuing a draftsman's course.

The other rider, Charles Brian (27), working as the HR Manager in a Gurugram-based company, and Pradeep Nair, the pillion rider, received serious injuries in the incident and were being treated at a hospital, the officer said.
