1 killed, 2 injured over land dispute in Raj

A 50-year-old man was killed and two others including his son were injured when they were allegedly attacked by a group of men in Jalore district of Rajasthan, police said.

The victim identified as Kamlesh Vishnoi and his family was allegedly attacked with sharp-edged weapons and sticks by accused -- Goparam, Mohan and others -- over some land dispute, police said.

While Kamlesh died on the spot, his son Mohan and a relative Sunil were critically injured, police said, adding that they were being treated at the district hospital.

A case has been registered against the accused, but no arrests have been made so far, police added.
